Data File Title | Digest Machine Readable Table (MRT) File | |
Data File Description | MRT files are created to increase the usability and accessibility of current and future Digest tables. The MRT files have a uniform design; this allows Digest table data to be read in a standard format and provides the table-specific metadata information pertaining to the table. Typically, each MRT file contains data from one Digest table. The MRT format is intended to facilitate access to Digest table data by statistical software programs. Those seeking to simply view the data or make a simple calculation can access these data in a traditional tabular format (see URL field provided in the file). | |
