Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) was established in
1973 through an Act of the Parliament. It works
under the administrative control of Ministry of Science
& Technology (MoST).
Similar types of Foundations/organizations including
US National Science Foundation, UK Foundation for
S&T, Indian Science & Technology Department,
Chinese National Natural Science Foundation and
many more are working for promotion of Science and
Technology all over the world.
