experience success because of the environment provided by the staff is encouraging, and
supportive one. With the encouragement from God’s Word and his counselors, your son
will find that the lessons he learns at camp will stay with him throughout his life. At
Northern Frontier Camp your son will not just hear about God, he will see commitment to
Christ lived out in our staff. Campers are surrounded by well-trained staff members who
foster healthy relationships, teach attainable skills, instruct campers in God’s Word and
model Christian leadership through godly living.
From all the activities mentioned above to eating well in our dining hall to hearing God’s
Word, a story, or personal testimony illustrating a Biblical truth at morning Bible
Exploration the evening campfires, your son’s days at Northern Frontier will be full of
growth and adventures, as well as enjoyable and interesting cabin games and activities.

From the early 1980s Northern Frontier has offered Father and Son programs and has
become a recognized “Father and Son Expert” with Tree Climber sessions for dads with
sons ages 6, 7 and 8, Father and Son Camp for dads with sons age 8 and up, and Father

opportunity for dad and son to connect or reconnect.
Northern Frontier maintains a cabin counselor to camper ratio of 1:4, and a staff to
camper ratio approaching 1:2. This assures that your son is always under the watchful
care and mature guidance of our staff.
        Sincerely,
        Capt. Chris
                                                     A Wise Choice
We believe you have made a wise choice in selecting Northern Frontier for your son.
Our hope is that his stay with us will be one of the best weeks of his life. High standards
for the acceptance of staff and quality program planning are important features of
Northern Frontier. For every cabin of eight campers there are two counselors, a 1:4 ratio
making possible close supervision and personal counseling.
Your cooperation is needed to give your son a good time while he is at camp. Please
read through the following carefully. It includes camp requirements and several hints on
how to make your son’s time at Northern Frontier more enjoyable.
                     Required Forms for Campers
                     1. Camper Health Forms - You must clink on the registration link on our webpage and
create a login in name and password to begin registering your son/s. Please follow the
steps and also fill out and e-sign the online additional forms. In order to permit your son
to attend Northern Frontier and to receive medical care if required Form 1 (Camper/Staff
Health History) must be completed, with an up-to-date immunization record. Your son
must also have had an examination by a licensed physician within 24 months of his
arrival at camp and have a physician sign Form 2 Camper/Staff Health History
(Physician). If you are registering for Tree Climbers or Father/Son programs at Northern
Frontier Camp you only need to fill out Form 1, Form 2 requiring a physical is not
required for you or your sons. Please give the information requested about your family
medical/hospital insurance. When you receive it back please scan it or take a picture of it
and upload it into your file under your login password. If health/accident care is needed,
your policy will be used first since the camp provides only very limited, non-duplicative
coverage. Please review and e-sign the Meningococcal Disease information and fill out
the Response Form. All the above forms are required by New York State law.

with one other camper his own age.
        Your Arrival at Camp
If you are driving to camp, plan to arrive after 11:00 AM and before 12:30 PM. This
will enable us to give proper care to those leaving and prepare for your arrival.

will give you instructions and guide you to the registration area. If all forms are online

someone other than the legal custodial parent will be picking up your son. When picking
up your son, you must sign him out. Please plan to pick up your son between 10:00 and
