Sheet 1: Update Existing Rtg Template
Tab required when renaming existing E2 Hierarchy Names or if changes to existing Routing Templates should be made. Columns E-G are Routing Pool Names which are configurable by Agency. The columns may not reflect the applicable header for your Agency and can be changed if needed and columns may be added if you have more levels of approval not shown. The Action dropdown contains four options: 1) Update Routing Template Name: When updates to the hierarchy result in changes to minor customer names, the associated routing template(s) and its routing pools must be updated to match the new minor name. Select Update Routing Template Name (column A), enter the existing routing template name (column B), and provide the new routing template name (column C). 2) Replace Routing Pool: Select Replace Routing Pool (column A), enter the existing routing template name (column B), and provide the new/updated routing pool name for the Reviewed (column E), Certified (column F), and/or Approved (column G) pool(s). The existing routing pool for that step will be removed and replaced with what is entered on the spreadsheet. Type N/A in the routing pool cells (columns E-G) if no updates are required for those pools. 3) Add Approval Step in Routing Template: Select Add Approval Step in Routing Template (column A), enter the existing routing template name (column B), and provide the new/updated routing pool name for the Reviewed (column E), Certified (column F), or Approved (column G) pool(s) to add to the template. Type N/A in the routing pool cells (columns E-G) if no updates are required for those pools. 4) Remove Approval Step in Routing Template: Select Remove Approval Step in Routing Template (column A), enter the existing routing template name (column B), and provide the existing routing pool name for the Reviewed (column E), Certified (column F), or Approved (column G) pool(s) to be removed from the template. Type N/A in the routing pool cells (columns E-G) if no updates are required for those pools. *Review the Routing Configuration by User Interactive report (RTG001I) to review existing routing details (i.e., routing template names and associated routing pools, assigned travelers, routing template application information such as applied at profile or minor customer etc.). The input controls box allows you to drill down to certain portions of the hierarchy or search by entering full or portions of the routing pool or template name in the Routing Pool Name (Contains) field. You can also export this report as an Excel file and create a pivot table to organize the routing data and review the routing structure. |
