th
Tri State Mall and Darby Transportation Center to 69 Street
Transportation Center
KEY SERVICE CHARACTERISTICS, ISSUES, AND OPPORTUNITIES
th
• Route 113 operates between 69 Street Transportation Center and Darby Transportation
Center or Tri State Mall via Chester. The route operates nearly 24 hours a day and 7
days a week. It offers 15 Max service on weekdays and is on of SEPTA’s highest
th
ridership suburban routes. It has the 27 highest weekday ridership in SEPTA’s system
and strong productivity.
• The route is complicated by 11 service patterns and gapped service is an issue.
• The major opportunity to strengthen Route 113 is to simplify service by reducing the
number of service patterns.
