                 Learning Objectives
   Define the terms ‘balanced diet’ and ‘nutrition’
   Identify the 4 main food groups that make up a balanced diet
   Give food examples for each group 
   Explain the impact of a balanced diet on sporting performance
 Write down 3 statements

 In order to maintain a healthy weight, the amount of energy taken into the 
   body must be matched by the amount of energy expended. Energy is 
   measured in calories (Kcal) and is obtained from the food we eat.
