AIM FOR QUALITY WORK The aim and conditions for the quality work at the university appears in: Revised Quality policy* Description of LTU´s quality management system* (*Determined by Vice Chancellor in November 2020) QUALITY POLICY The purpose with the Quality policy is to: Be a benchmark for the quality work Ensure that we meet demands in accordance with laws, ordinances and appropriation directions as well as ESG* standards Enable that we achieve reaching the goals according to Vision 2030 * Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area QUALITY WORK CONCERNS ALL Everybody, employees, students and PhD students, is responsible for contributing to the maintenance and development of the quality work. GUIDING PRINCIPLES Some of the guiding principles of the quality policy are: There are good opportunities for staff and first-, second- and third-cycle students to contribute to the continuous work on improvements and they are encouraged to participate in this work. As drivers of quality, the processes for planning, implementation, follow-ups and improvement are well adapted to their purposes and easy to understand. There are close links between education and research. Rules, policies and guidelines are properly documented, accessible and communicated to internal and external stakeholders. Further principles emphasized are gender equality, sustainability, public benefits and collaboration with working live.
