During the term each member of your
development team should have a chance
at being a leader of the team.
There are 9 management roles, one for
each member of the team
Each member of the team should lead at
least one phase of the project (one
deliverable or one meeting)

Communications manager role
Liaison between your team and client/instructor
Implement and maintain communication tools
(email list, chat group, …) used by the team
Manage communication between team members.
Contact team members when needed
Remind the Meeting Manager or the Minutes Taker
if they forget to check in minutes or agendas!
Students should be communications manager for
a maximum of six consecutive weeks

Configuration manager roles
Configuration manager 1:
Create document skeleton: format layout,
font, etc.
Configuration manager 2:
Setup/maintain the software version control
Configuration manager 3:
Setup/maintain a common project
development environment for all team
members

Meetings Manager role
Organization of weekly team meetings
Scheduling of weekly team meetings
Informing team of weekly team meetings
Preparation of meeting agenda for weekly team
meeting
Checking the meeting agenda into SVN each
week
Students should be meeting manager for a
maximum of six consecutive weeks
