There are many ways you can use
DADWAVERS to write descriptively.

DAD – initially, you can just follow the
pattern of descriptive, action, dialogue and
repeat.
Using

DADWAV DADWAV – moving onto description,
action, dialogue, where, adverb, verb.
•
ERS DADWAVERS – follow the sequence in
order before repeating for the next part of
your writing.
•
Final Stage – use the Mnemonic in any
order you choose.
Your turn
Using the image and DADWAVERS,
create your own description of the
scene.
You can magpie vocabulary and
sentences from the WAGOLL, but the
majority of your work must be your own.
