   Overview of FMRF project
   “This project seeks to improve the financial management 
   reporting of ANU by:
   1. Aligning the current budgeting and forecasting processes 
       to a consistent framework across the University, using the 
       enterprise tool TM1;
   2. Developing a suite of new financial management 
       reports, providing a platform for future developments in 
       reporting and forecasting”

    Improved decision making capability 
    •   Financial information presented in a consistent format
        Comparison of Actuals, Forecasts and Budgets in one report 
    •   Updated Income Statement report format
         Translation from current “FMR” reports with a revised Account Structure
    •   Centrally available reports in the University’s enterprise system
         Self-service/ on demand for all stakeholders
    Efficiencies in local finance teams
    •   Phase out of bespoke local Excel reporting models across Colleges 
        and Divisions
