Guidelines of the Awards for PJTSAU
Best Research Paper with highest NAAS rating &
Teacher / Research Scientist / Extension Scientist with Highest Funded
External Project
It is proposed by the University to give the above two awards in the
University Foundation Day.
The objective is to provide recognition to the outstanding Teacher/Research
Scientist / Extension Scientist and promote quality and excellence in
Teaching/Research/Extension.
The awards consists of cash prize of Rs.10,000/-,Certificate and a Memento
(each)
The awards proposed for :
I. “Best research Paper with Highest NAAS rating”
1. The award will be given to the Teacher/Research Scientist/Extension
Scientist who has published his/her research findings in standard national
or international journals with highest NAAS rating during the last two years
preceding May, 2021.
2. The research work must have been carried out by staff and or research work
of the student of PJTSAU.
3. To be eligible for this award, the applicant must have published her/her
research paper with NAAS rating of >7 and above.
4. The publications of First Author and Second Author only will be
considered for the award.
5. The candidate must submit the copies of research papers published with
NAAS rating.
6. The published article must have been uploaded on staff data base only will
be considered.
7. The University reserves the right to select or not any of the applicants for the
award.
II. Teacher / Research Scientist / Extension Scientist with Highest
Funded External Project :
1. The award will be given to the Teacher/Research Scientist/Extension
Scientist who was awarded the projects with highest funding as Principal
Investigator and / or Co-Principal Investigator during the last three years
preceding May, 2021.
2. Preference will be given to the projects sanctioned under competitive grants
by funding agency.
3. The Scientist/faculty obtaining the projects under RKVY, Network, Paid-up
trails of private agencies etc., will not be considered for the award.
4. The University reserves the right to select or not any of the applicants for the
award.
