What did you keep your money in when you were growing up?
How did you earn money?
Were you good at saving?
What did you spend your money on?
What was the first big thing you saved up for?
Create a money memory box
You can use anything from a cardboard
box, an old tin, or something that looks
like a money box you once used.
Fill it with memories of what life was
like when you were growing up. You
could include pictures, clippings,
drawings or objects.
Add to your memory box over time.
The process of making it is just as
important as using it as a conversation
starter.
