       should be written by someone who can speak on the applicant’s character and involvement outside of the 
       academic realm since academic recommendations are found in the admissions application already.

       directly mail or email to Bishop Dunne Catholic School.

        Students entering the 9th grade are eligible to apply for the following scholarships: 
        Stefan Browne Memorial Scholarship:  The scholarship will be awarded to a student in need. The 
        student must demonstrate a strong work ethic, an interest in music, is a good citizen, and participates in 
        community service and outreach. 
        Dr. Robert Simonson Medical Scholarship: The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has a 
        current grade point average of at least a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale, a strong work ethic, is interested in a career 
        in the health sciences, and believes in the importance of physical education, athletics, social justice, and 
        community service. 
        John David Wooten Scholarship: The scholarship will be awarded to a minority student in need, and 
        therefore the family must also apply for financial aid. The student must demonstrate a strong work ethic, 
        makes plans for the future, and believes in the importance of physical education, athletics, social justice, 
        and community service. 
        This completed form, along with the letter of recommendation, should be mailed or emailed to Bishop 
        Dunne Catholic School by February 20, 2018.
