Adjacent Tenant Consent Letter
The Applicant has requested a summer patio to be placed in front of your business or residence on the
roadway (curbside) or on the sidewalk from March 31, 2022 to October 31, 2022. This form confirms your
consent as an adjacent property tenant to have your neighbour use the space in front of the premises.
The undersigned (the “Adjacent Tenant”) gives its consent to the City of Vancouver (the “City”) and to
business applying ______________________________ (the “Applicant” and patio operator) to participate
business applying for patio permit name and address
in the Summer Patio Program, including consent for the public property located in front of
_____________________________ (the “Property”) to operate a patio during the Applicant’s business
neighbouring property business name and address
operations.
The Adjacent Tenant (or Property Owner only if the storefront is vacant) represents and warrants to the
City that:
○ the Tenant or Property Owner is the legal and beneficial owner of the Property;
○ the Tenant or Property Owner has full power and authority to grant the above consent and;
○ no other person or entity of the Property is required to consent to participation in the Summer Patio
Program on the public property in front of the Property, including, without limitation, any tenant,
occupant, or operator of the Property.
