               HRM 32403: Compensation Management 
               Level: 3000                                                 Number of Credits  : 03 
               Course Description 
               Compensation management is concerned with designing, implementing, and maintaining an 
               effective compensation system in order to manage employment relationship. This course 
               provides an understanding on concepts, models, and techniques to compensate employees for 
               attracting and retaining the appropriate and contended employees. 
               Intended Learning Outcomes 
               At the end of the course, the student will be able to; 
                  •   Explain the concepts, models, and techniques related to managing compensation 
                      process of individuals and teams, 
                  •   Discuss the appropriateness of compensation decisions in determining total 
                      compensation of employees, 
                  •   Design a compensation system which is internally consistent and externally 
                      competitive.

               Methods of Assessment
