       Goals for This Training 
       • Understanding local procedures to follow before, during, and after 
         testing
       • Understanding test security requirements and test administration 
         protocols
       • Knowing which resources to review prior to testing, and where to find 
         information if there are questions 
       • Knowing whom to contact with questions

         Updates for 2022
         • Protocols suspended for spring 2021 due to pandemic are resuming in 2022 (e.g., 
          prescribed administration dates for high schools).
         • The Biology and Introductory Physics tests will be offered as next-generation, 
          computer-based tests (with a PBT version available as an accommodation).
            • Chemistry and Technology/Engineering continue to be offered as legacy, paper-based tests.
         • The Biology and Introductory Physics tests will be offered in both American Sign 
          Language (ASL) and a Spanish/English edition in June 2022. 
            • ASL will be embedded in the computer-based test for students who have this 
              accommodation. 
            • Spanish/English will be embedded in the computer-based tests for eligible students and 
              will also be available in paper-based format.
            • The ASL and Spanish/English edition is also available for the grade 10 Math test.

       Updates to TestNav and 
       PearsonAccessnext
       • Students are now able to adjust the system volume at any time 
        during testing.
       • New options are available in the Equation Editor.
       • Color contrast is now enabled on start screens, welcome 
        pages, and end sections.

        When PearsonAccess       (PAN) users select any filters or modify 
        the columns that are displayed on any page in PAN, those 
        selections will be maintained when a user leaves that page and 
        then returns.
