39th Annual SPE Golf Tournament
                The annual SPE golf tournament benefits the scholarship fund supported
           by our East Texas SPE Section.   Find a teammate and join us for a fun
           afternoon of golf with fellow industry colleagues.   If you are interested in
           sponsoring in any way, please see the following pages.

           Format:  Two-person scramble 
           Registration:  Available online at https://connect.spe.org/easttexas.  You may
           also pay by filling out the entry form and sending it to the email address below;
           then an invoice will be created and emailed back to you. Forms will be available
           at the next section meeting; payment will be required to sign up at the meeting.
           These forms are online and can be mailed in with payment as well. Any
           problems with registering/paying, please contact Trey Hughey at the number
           below. 
           Schedule:  11:00am – Driving range opens to all in SPE tournament 
                     11:30am – Lunch and team registration begins at pavilion 
                     12:45pm – Announcements, rules, and travel to starting hole 
                     1:00pm – Shotgun start on designated hole 
                    After Golf – Awards ceremony and door prizes

              TO:  2021 SPE GOLF TOURNAMENT HOLE SPONSORS 
               
               
             Thank you for your participation in the 2021 SPE Golf Tournament at Oak Hurst Golf Course in 
              Bullard on Friday, May 7th.  This is our largest fundraiser for our Scholarship Program.  This 
              year will be an afternoon round only with a shotgun start beginning at 1:00 pm. Lunch will begin
              at 11:30 am. 
               
             We are still looking for all types of sponsors (hole sponsors, general door prizes, beverage, 
              etc.).  If you are interested in supporting in any way please give me a call, text, or send an 
              email.  All sponsors need to supply a prize with a value of $100+.  This will assure you of 
              having your name placed on the Sponsor Board. 
               
             Our sponsors are required to supply a sign for the hole you are sponsoring to be placed on the 
              respective Tee Box.  If you aren’t sure of the specific hole or game, please confirm by contacting 
              me.
               
             For signs, new or updated, please contact Randy Permenter at (903-594-8367 or 
             randyp8621@gmail.com) on details for ordering and design.  These signs are generally 18” by 
              24” and will cost about $35.00.  On your sign, please include the Sponsor Name and Game 
              (double check with me to know which hole and game).  I still have most of the signs from last 
              year so please check with me before ordering if you have had one made in the past.  Please make 
              arrangements for payment through Randy when ordering.  I can pick the signs up if you would 
              like but, the sign must be paid for before I do so.

             Tournament Sponsorship Options – East TX SPE Golf 
        
        
       Door Prizes can be anything and everything, but won’t be added to the sponsor board.  Who they’re 
       from gets announced as they are given away and you add a business card to the door prize. 
        
       Hole Sponsorships are added to the main sponsor board.  They can range from a minimum of $100 gift 
       card to a club of any value $100 or greater.  Some people bring $100 putters and some bring $350 
       drivers.  We show what it is when we hand out the prize so people will have an idea of what you 
       brought.  You will have to get a sign made (~$35, contact Randy Permenter at 903-594-8367 or 
       randyp8621@gmail.com) to go on your particular hole.  These are first come first served.  If it does fill 
       up, we can find a way to put your sign somewhere significant and create another type of sponsorship 
       that will be recognized. 
        
       Cooking on the course:  Please contact me if you are interested in setting up some sort of cooker or 
       hospitality station on the course, and we will add your name to the sponsor board accordingly.  Spots are
       limited. 
        
       A few other things that could be sponsored are the raffle clubs (~$500), beverage ($75+, no limit),  soft 
       drinks at lunch ($200),  the long drive guy ($500),  ice trailer ($300), we can find a sponsorship for what 
       you want.  We will make sure to get your name everywhere you want it… within reason.
