Career   Interest   Inventory   Instructions  
        
        
         1) Go   to   the   Eastern   website   (eccrsd.us)   scroll   down   and   click   on   “Naviance” .  
                                                   
        
         2) You   may   be   directed   to   this   page   and   will   need   to   input   Eastern’s   zip   code  
          (08043).  
        
                                                   
        
         3) Click   on   “Go”   then   click   on   “Eastern   High   School”,   you   will   be   directed   to  
          the   login   page.  
                                                   
        
        
         4) Login   to   Naviance.    
       **Naviance   may   indicate   that   they   are   sending   you   a   new   password   which   will   be   sent  
       to   your   Eastern   email.     Check   your   Eastern   email   and   then   you   can   your   password  
       and.**  
        
         5) After   you   have   logged   in,   Click   on   “Careers”  
        
                                                   
        
        
         6) On   the   drop   down   menu,   click   on   “Careers   I’m   Thinking   About” 
                                                      
         7) Then   under   “What   are   My   Interests”   click   on   “Career   Interest   Profiler”  
                          
        
         8) You   will   see   this   screen,   scroll   down   and   click   on   “Continue”   
        
                                                   
        
        
       **You   will   answer   questions   and   indicate   your   feelings   about   various   jobs   (whether   you  
       “like”   it,   “dislike”   it   or   are   “not   sure”   about   it),   go   with   your   “gut”.    Try   your   best   to   indicate  
       if   you   would   like   or   dislike   it   (indicating   “Not   sure”   unsure   will   not   yield   results   that   will   be  
       helpful   or   accurate).**  
        
        
                                    
        
        
         9) When   you   have   finished   a   set   of   questions,   click   on   “Next”   to   go   to   the  
          next   set   of   questions.
