Guide to Portrait and
Landscape View
In January of 2019, Zoom released an update to its desktop
application. After installing the update, users may choose
between two views, Portrait or Landscape, when using the
desktop application.
Differences between the two views include the location of the
Meetings icon and the position of an upcoming meeting
notification on the application landing screen.
Getting Started
First, install the latest Zoom application update. To get the
latest update, go to our page at https://tennessee.zoom.us and
select Download Zoom. Or, in the Zoom desktop application, A few key differences in the new version of the Zoom desktop
