                 INTRODUCTION
      The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments 
      (BCDCOG) is one of ten Councils of Governments (COGs) created 
      to serve the municipalities and counties of this state. The BCDCOG 
      provides a forum through which locally elected officials and their 
      representatives may meet to discuss and resolve issues of mutual 
                     concern.
      This directory is designed to encourage communication among 
      local public officials. Recognizing that this directory will need to be 
      updated frequently, your assistance is invited in that process. Please 
      inform us of needed changes or any other suggestions you might 
          have to enhance this directory's accuracy and value.
