                    Talks & Trips
The Committee is keen to start organising trips and talks. It will take time to put a
programme together. Hopefully we should be able to have talks in place from 2023.
In the meantime, Eldwick and Gilstead Horticultural Society have kindly agreed that
they are happy for any members of our Society to attend their talks.

Tuesday 17 May “Culture of Sweet Peas” by David Mathewman
Tuesday 20 September “The perfumed garden” by Bob Flowerdew (zoom)
Tuesday 18 October “Growing Tasty Tomatoes” by Simon Crawford

The talks start at 7:30 and are in the Memorial Hall in Eldwick (except for the
September one) and cost £3 for us as non- members (this includes coffee and
     biscuits).

In addition to talks we hope to start arranging garden visits. Again, this will probably
have to wait until 2023. However, in the meantime, the Committee is looking into
whether it might be possible to put a trip together to visit one of the gardens that are
open for charity under the RHS National Garden Scheme.
