  the	translated	version	of	the	PDF	using	this	method.	You	can	manually	copy	the	translated	text	or	save	the	page	as	a	PDF	in	Chrome	or	Firefox.	The	latter	may	not	have	the	original	PDF	formatting.	Also,	the	PDF	file	must	be	no	larger	than	10MB.	You	can	also	upload	other	document	types	including	DOC,	DOCX,	ODF,	PPT,	PPTX,	PS,	RTF,	TXT,	XLS,
  and	XLSX.	If	you	want	to	translate	PDF,	use	Microsoft	Word.	With	this	method,	you	convert	PDF	to	Word,	translate	that	Word	file,	and	save	the	translated	file	back	to	PDF.	A	slight	downside	to	using	this	method	is	that	the	original	PDF	formatting	may	not	be	preserved.	Translating	a	PDF	with	Google	Translate	To	use	the	Google	Translate	method,	first
  open	a	web	browser	on	your	computer	and	go	to	the	Google	Translate	website.	Click	"Documents"	at	the	top	of	the	page	if	you	want	to	translate	a	PDF	document.	Select	the	PDF	source	language	in	the	left	pane	of	the	Documents	tab.	If	you're	unsure,	let	Google	detect	your	language	by	selecting	Detect	Language.	In	the	right	pane,	select	the	language

Once	you	have	located	the	PDF	file,	right-click	it	and	select	Open	In	>	Word.	This	will	open	the	PDF	in	Word.	If	you	don't	see	Word,	click	Choose
  another	app	and	select	Word.	When	opening	Word,	I	get	a	message	that	the	original	formatting	of	the	PDF	may	not	be	preserved.	When	prompted,	click	OK	to	continue.	To	translate	a	PDF	to	another	language,	you	must	first	convert	it	to	Word	DOCX.	To	do	this,	click	"File"	in	the	upper	left	corner	of	Word.	Click	Save	As	in	the	left	sidebar.	Then	select
  "Browse"	in	the	right	pane.	■	In	the	"Save"	window	that	opens,	select	the	folder	where	you	want	to	save	the	file.	Enter	a	file	name	and	click	Save.	The	Word	version	of	your	PDF	is	now	available	in	the	Word	window.	To	translate	this	file,	click	the	"Review"	tab	at	the	top	of	the	Word	ribbon.	On	the	Review	tab,	click	Language	>	Translate	>	Translate
  Document.	The	"Translate"	section	will	appear	on	the	right	side	of	the	Word	screen.	Here,	under	the	"Document"	tab,	use	the	"From"	drop-down	menu	to	select	the	source	language	of	the	PDF	file.
