As much as I have loved the beginning workouts, I was starting to get a little tired of them and was starting to think about not finishing this program. While I would not have given up on 22 Minute Hard Corps this time around, I was happy when I saw the more advanced workouts on the calendar this week. Another decision I made this week was to trade out Core 2 for Special Ops Core. No doubt it is a bit longer than the Core 2 workout, 16 minutes versus 11 minutes, but it challenged me in a whole new way. In my opinion, if you find yourself bored of the Core 1 and Core 2 workout, try the Special Ops Abs workout using Beachbody On Demand instead. How do I know what size weight to use for my 22 Minute Hard Corps week 6 workouts? For the majority of this workout program, I have used only 5 and 12.5 pound weights. Actually for the majority of the moves, I have been using 12.5 pound weights. In fact, the only move I have really utilized the 5 pound weights is with the lunge thrusts in Resistance 3. Even so, I believe I am pretty strong and I push myself to be challenge, meaning you might want to start with something lighter and work your way up!
