Biography
Ms. Speedy is the Vice President and National Director, AARP Foundation Tax-
Aide in Washington, DC with many years of professional experience in areas
dealing with planning, policy development and application, grant funded
programs, accounting, the application and monitoring of federal regulations
dealing with tax law, pensions and 501 (c) organizations. She directs all aspects
of AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, serving over two million taxpayers a year,
including program outcomes, policy development, implementation strategies,
evaluation of effectiveness and communication to program volunteers. Ms.
Speedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and
attained Certified Pension Consultant status.
