      SSC MTS Syllabus 
      SSC MTS exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is the objective type, and Paper 2 is the descriptive 
      type. Paper 1 carries four sections named English Language, General Reasoning, Quantitative Apti-
      tude, and General Awareness. Paper 2 consists of only the English section in which candidates are 
      asked to write a letter, essay, and Precis. We have provided the syllabus for both papers separately.

      SSC MTS Syllabus 2021 Paper-I 
      There are four sections in the SSC MTS Paper 1 namely English Language, General Reasoning, Quan-
      titative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Candidates can check the below-given syllabus for all sub-
      jects and prepare accordingly.

      SSC MTS Syllabus 2021 Paper-II 
      Paper-II will be set in Hindi, English, and in other languages mentioned in Schedule 8th of the Con-
      stitution as given in Annexure-XIV. In paper II candidates need to write a Short Essay/Letter in any 
      language included in Schedule 8th as aforesaid. This test is conducted to test basic language skills 
      commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post.

                                 SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2021 
      Candidates can check the below-mentioned exam pattern for Paper-I and prepare for the examina-
      tion. Paper-I will be a computer-based objective paper including 100 questions and has four sections.

           There will be a total of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks asked in the computer-based exam 
            and each question will carry 1 mark. 
           For every incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.  
      Paper-II Descriptive Type Test 
      In this paper, the candidates will have to write an essay or letter.

           In this paper, the candidates will have to answer only one question and the marks obtained in 
            this paper will be qualifying in nature and are intended to test elementary language skills in 
            view of the categorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements. 
           However, marks scored by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more 
            than one candidate scores equal normalized marks in Paper-I.  
      How to Prepare for SSC MTS Exam 2021? 
      Candidates need to prepare really well for the SSC MTS Exam 2021 as there will be a high competi-
      tion this time. Candidates will have to qualify all the SSC MTS eligibility criteria in order to qualify for 
      the exams to ensure they draw a good strategy to crack SSC MTS. In order to get good marks, candi-
      dates need to keep certain things in mind.  
           It is essential for the candidates to get well versed with the SSC MTS exam pattern and syllabus 
            2021 and then plan their strategies accordingly.
