Pioneered the Annual JKUAT Scientific, Technological and Industrialisation
Conference. Chair (2005) Technical Committee and member of the Organizing
Committee and, Chair (2006) Conference Steering Committee.
Participated in the Training of academic staff on writing of a winning scientific
proposal 2005.
Appointed a Judge (2000) for the KARI Biennial Scientific Conference where I
served for four terms. In the year 2006. Appointed the Chief Judge.
Organizing Committee member of Conference on Africa Brain Gain Workshop,
2005 which initiated Kenyans in the Diaspora to invest in their country
Was Chair of International Conference on Edible and Nedicinal Mushrooms
which was hosted at MMUST
Initiator of the Horticultural Association of Kenya with its Publication Journal
