  universities.	Early	life	Husain	was	born	in	Haridwar	district	of	Uttrakhand.	He	was	M.A.	In	geography	(Gold	Medalist),	an	LL.B.	and	a	PhD.	He	died	on	January	24,	2019.	Legacy	Husain	was	one	of	the	senior-most	faculty	of	geography	in	India	who	has	received	several	awards	and	distinctions	for	his	research	in	the	field	of	geography.	He	has	trained
  many	well-known	experts	of	geography.	He	resided	in	New	Delhi	and	taught	the	aspirants	of	Indian	Civil	Services	exam	conducted	by	UPSC[clarification	needed]	at	Pragati	IAS[clarification	needed]	in	Rajendra	Nagar.	His	unique	teaching	style	helped	the	student	to	assimilate	even	the	most	convoluted	topics.	He	taught	complete	module	geography
  optional,	geography	for	prelims,	environment	and	ecology,	and	mentored	his	students	for	personality	tests.	Many	students	taught	by	him	are	working	as	IAS,	IPS,	IFS	and	in	other	elite	services.[clarification	needed]	He	also	had	numerous	publications	and	useful	books	for	UPSC	and	other	competitive	examinations	to	his	credit.	His	textbooks	are	used
