assemble at 10.30 a.m.,immediately after special DB
matters are over, DB-I comprising Hon'ble the Acting
Chief Justice & Hon'ble Mr. Justice C.Hari Shankar will
assemble and Hon'ble Mr. Justice S.P.Garg will hear
single bench matters listed before his Lordship.
2. Mentioning of urgent matters will be before Hon'ble DB-I at
10.30 A.M..
3. Hon'ble Ms. Justice Mukta Gupta will not be holding Court today.
Dates will be given by the Court Master.
SUBJECT: SUMMER VACATION 2018- ARRANGEMENT
1. It is hereby notified that Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice is
pleased to nominate the Hon'ble Judges named below to be Vacation
Judges during the ensuing Summer Vacation 2018, to hear matters which
may require to be immediately or promptly dealt with, for the
respective periods as shown against their names:-

2. Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice is further pleased to pass the following orders for being
followed during the course of summer vacation:-
i] The Judges will sit in Division Benches and also singly to hear urgent Civil and Criminal
matters and such other matters as may be placed before them as per the schedule of dates
given above.
ii] Ordinarily the Judges will sit in Court on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and such
other days as they may think fit at 10.30 AM. The Sitting may continue for the next
succeeding day if matters fixed for any day are not finished on that day.
iii] If one of the Judges is not available on any day for any unforeseen reason, the other
Judge may sit alone subject to the condition that the Hon'ble Judge shall not dismiss the
Division Bench matters.
3. The Office of the Court will remain open daily from 10.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M except on Second
Saturday, Sundays, and other holidays, if any.
4. A motion matter normally entertainable by bench of two Judges may only be admitted in the
discretion of the judge sitting singly but will not be dismissed (vide proviso to Rule 3 Chapter
3-B High Court Rules and Orders Volume V).
5. Limitation will not run during the vacation period for purpose of institution of Civil and
Criminal cases.
6. All plaints, appeals, petitions or other matters as may require to be immediately or promptly
dealt with, can be filed with the Joint Regisgtrar/Deputy Registrar on duty between 10.00 A.M
and 12 Noon on all days except Second Saturday, Sundays and other holidays,if any.
7. Suits, Appeals, Applications or other proceedings, which are to be filed on the re-opening day,
may also be instituted/preferred or made in regular course between 10.00 A.M and 4.00 P.M

from Monday, the 25 June, 2018 to Saturday, the 30 June, 2018 as per convenience of the
parties though for the purpose of limitation the Court re-opens only on 02.07.2018.
DELETIONS
1. W.P.(C) 8689/2017 listed before special DB comprising Hon'ble Mr. Justice
G.S.Sistani and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Chander Shekhar at item No.2 is
deleted as the same is returned to Filing Counter.
2. FAO(OS) 154/2016 listed before Hon'ble DB-VIII at item No.5 is deleted as
the same is listed before Sh. Ravinder Singh, Joint Registrar(Judicial).
3. W.P.(CRL.) 1737/2018, & W.P.(CRL.) 1753/2018 listed before Hon'ble Mr.

As approved by Hon'ble Mr. Justice S.Ravindra Bhat,Judge High
Court of Delhi and Chairman, DHCLSC, National Lok Adalat is to be
held on 14.07.2018( SECOND SATURDAY) at High Court of
Delhi for the pending cases under following category:-
1. Criminal Compoundable Offence
2. NI Act cases under Section 138;
3. Bank Recovery cases;
4. MACT cases;
5. Labour disputes cases;
6. Electricity and Water Bills[excluding non-compoundable]
7. Matrimonial disputes;
8. Land Acquisition cases;
9. Services matters relating to pay and allowances and
retiral benefits;
10. Revenue cases;
11. Other civil cases(rent, easmentary rights,
injunction suits, specific performance suits) etc;
To facilitate settlements, the committee will conduct pre-Lok
Adalat sittings on all working days w.e.f.26.04.2018 to 01.06.2018
and from 02.07.2018 to 11.07.2018. The parties and their Advocates,
who want their pending matter to be referred for Lok Adalat, may
either make request to concerned Hon'ble Court or with consent of
opposite party may approach office of Delhi High Court Legal
Services Committee, Chamber No.35, Lawyers Chambers, Delhi High
Court.
