2022 EDUCATIONAL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION  
                                                             
               The Nancy Lieberman Charities is pleased to offer the Nancy Lieberman Educational 
               College Scholarship to deserving high school student-athletes who excel in sports, 
               academics, and who have made a positive impact in the community. The Educational 
               College Scholarships will be in the amount of $10,000 each, which is analogous to the #10 
               Nancy wore during her basketball career. The scholarship will be applied towards tuition 
               only, provided the student meets the requirements set forth.

               In honor of the 50  Anniversary of Title IX, the 2022 Nancy Lieberman Charities 
               Educational College Scholarship will commemorate this milestone by awarding all 
               college educational scholarships this year to female applicants. Nancy Lieberman 
               Charities wants to recognize and celebrate the importance of women’s participation 
               in athletics and to continue to open doors and break down barriers for all women. 
                
               Scholarship Criteria: 
                  !  Applicant must be a female high school senior who is an active member of one or 
                      more of her school’s athletic teams 
                  !  Applicant must exhibit strong academic performance in the classroom 
                  !  Applicant must be involved with community activities 
                  !  Applicant must plan to attend an accredited 2- or 4- year U.S. college/university as a 
                      full-time student beginning the summer or fall immediately following high school 
                      graduation 
                  !  Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or better (based on 4.0 scale) 
                  !  Applicant must have a financial need 
                
               Attachments to be included with application: 
                  !  Copy of current year transcripts and last report card 
                  !  Copy of parent’s most recent income tax return 
                  !  Essay (500 words typed) comparing personal traits to Nancy Lieberman attributes  
                  !  One (1) letter of recommendation from one of the following individuals: 
                         Õ  Coach 
                         Õ  School instructor 
                         Õ  A community service leader or other adult (other than a relative) who has 
                            knowledge of your character and/or community involvement.

          CHARITIES BY Friday, May 20, 2022. INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE 
                          ACCEPTED.  
                              
         Students are not eligible for this scholarship if they have already received a full 
                 athletic scholarship to an accredited university.
