Journal Ranking Equivalency
[Approved at CoB Faculty Meeting on April 26th, 2021]
The College of Business utilizes two external journal ranking lists to validate the journal quality of
scholarly publications contributing to Scholarly Academic or Scholarly Practitioner status. The table
below provides a COB Journal Rating equivalency for Australian Business Deans Council and Chartered
Association of Business Schools ratings. For any journal publication that appears on both lists, if the
ranking is different, the higher of the two rankings is counted for annual evaluation, Summer Research
Enhancement Awards and any other purposes.
